Sand-Worthy Styles: Looks We Love for a Summertime Beach Romp

During the summer, we live for those long, relaxing days at the beach (or pool – whichever tickles your fancy).

Stretching out on a cozy beach towel with 50 Shades of Grey in hand and a refreshing beverage close by sounds pretty spectacular right now.

While dressing for such an excursion requires little brainwork, at the bare minimum you should always pack the essentials in a trendy beach tote – sunglasses, sunscreen, water, a hat and a cover-up (if you’re not already wearing it).

Each and every one of these items is crucial for a carefree day of feeling nothing but the sun on your skin and the sand between your toes! We’ve put together four looks we’ve deemed worthy of a seaside romp that are both stylish and practical.

When paring a cover-up with your swimsuit, we always suggest fully utilizing the work ‘cover up.’ Again, it’s just a suggestion, however if you’re planning on hitting up a local eatery for some mid-day grub, you want to be able to walk in without feeling like you’re showing off too much skin.

For bikinis, we suggest going with cute sundress or slouchy caftan. Both will cover up your mid section, keeping you appropriate for any off-sand trips.

For a one piece or monikini, opt for beach pants, a sarong or a romper. Since you’re already semi-covered up you don’t need full-on coverage. We like the above-mentioned options for you because you can still show off some of your top without feeling too layered up.
