Tory Burch revealed fashion’s secret garden in her Spring 2014 collection.
The theme was, “easy glamour of the French Riviera in the late 1960s,” and was inspired by Romy Schneider’s character in “La Piscine,” mixed with shrubbery elements.
With a runway designed to look like water and bushes in the background, models strutted down the catwalk with purses full of flowers.
Keeping to theme, fabrics boasted delicate floral prints and grassy-green hues. White also dominated the runway, which was the color of a breathtaking gown accented with baby blue jewels.
Accessories played a major role in the show, adding extra oomph to every getup. Large and vibrant necklaces graced the top of flirty frocks, while statement rings sparkled and shined. Our favorite pieces were girly arm cuffs, which even Tory Burch was donning.
Sticking to her trendsetting ways, Burch had models wear belts that were connected to square envelope clutches, making them hands-free.
In whole, it was a much more romantic collection than we’re accustomed to from the designer, but Tory has us totally falling in love.
