Are you ready for some football? Kristin Cavallari is — and just in time for New York Fashion week. The budding fashion icon took inspiration from the field for her collaboration with Junk Food by NFL.
Spicing up the brand’s signature sporty tees, the chic, edgy and colorful line hit the runway at STYLE360 on Tuesday night (September 10) and featured an inspired design for each of the 32 NFL teams.
During Kristin’s exclusive interview with our sister site GossipCenter, she mentioned how her relationship with her husband, Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, provided inspiration for the sketches.
“It makes a lot of sense for me being married to an NFL quarterback and I love fashion,” the 26-year-old said while explaining how she started working with Junk Food.
“It’s been a ton of fun for me to take the elements of the NFL and fuse it into chic, trendy runway clothes.”
Meanwhile, Kristin explained that it’s still possible to rock a sporty tee, but still look classy. She said to throw on a Junk Food top with jeans, cute booties and a blazer to make it “incredibly chic.”
“Just because you’re a football fan doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice fashion.”
Kristin currently has no plans to start her own clothing line, but mentioned that she would love to do a signature tee collection with Junk Food. “Right now I’m really enjoying the accessories,” she added.
