While she’s most famous for her bridal wear, Monique Lhuillier showed she knows a thing or two about everyday style, too.
The LA-based designer debuted her Spring 2014 collection on day three of fashion week at 7 PM, wrapping up the Saturday shows. Opening with sheer white separates, the line drew inspiration from her bridal expertise. Easing its way into color, the designer introduced a pair of pink pants featuring a pop of patchwork.
From there, the collection took off with bright colors atop some seriously sharp rompers. We were especially fond of a full-length caped short-sleeved shirt that was a new style to the market, along with pink and red evening dresses whose silhouettes flowed and fluffed effortlessly down the runway. The show closed with two ombre gowns that are sure to make their way onto red carpets.
