Michael Kors presented his Spring 2014 collection at the Theater in Lincoln Center on Wednesday (September 11), and it contained everything we have come to know and love about the brand.
Simple separates like wide-leg trousers, leather pencil skirts, pussybow blouses, chic cardigans and classic trench coats laid the framework for the famed designer’s new range.
Proving yet again that prints are in next season, Kors constructed an array of goods boasting reptile, floral and tapestry patterns. Lovely floor-length dresses made an appearance on the catwalk equipped with thigh-high slits, strategically-placed keyholes and cutout detailing.
The show in its entirety possessed a very neutral palette. Beige, black, brown and white hues dominated the runway, while a lovely green made frequent appearances throughout.
Every single item debuted proved to be extremely wearable and versatile — so à la Kors. It was an offering one could create and entire wardrobe off of. In fact, come spring, we’ll gladly accept the challenge.
