Jill Stuart Spring 2014 at NYFW: Watch Here!

Jill Stuart combined two of our favorite trends for her Spring 2014 collection: Rocker chic and a beachy cool. The end result? Feminine fits with a flattering edge.
Flowers, stripes and polka dots were present, while white, black and beige were the dominant colors. Stuart wasn’t afraid to show skin with crop tops and a pair of super short shorts —all in good taste, of course. She incorporated leather into many looks and informed us backstage that the material “is not going anywhere.” So ladies, start investing!
The beauty look was defined by cool, fresh skin that is punctuated with “imperfection.” Aaron De Mey, Sephora Artistry Ambassador said, “the look mirrors the chic, modern feel of the season’s collection.” He added, “It’s makeup a girl would do herself, but with an elevated feel achieved through touches of metallic silver and glowing skin.” After seeing it for ourselves, we’ll be shopping for a Bobbi Brown foundation stick and Givenchy Magic Kajal Eye Pencil in Magic Black, two of the main products used on the models.
Essie was on-hand (literally!) to give manis and pedis using After School Boy Blazer, a dark blue polish featuring a hint of metallic. It was a deep shade for spring, but the Essie pro’s informed us that shadow pallets will be right on-trend, alongside your basic nudes.
