Jean Paul Gaultier’s Spring 2014
dance competition runway show was unlike anything we’ve ever seen! And we work in fashion … we see a lot.
The label's latest offering — which consists mainly of leather-laden goods — was outshined by the choreographed dances models performed on the catwalk. The scene was reminiscent of “Dancing with the Stars,” where a panel of three judges sat and watched the girls strut their stuff.
Two of our favorite supers — Karlie Kloss and Coco Rocha — made appearances throughout the flashy JPG presentation and showed off sides to themselves we never existed!
Rocha channeled her inner Danny Zuko alongside a Sandra Dee look-alike, and the two danced around to “You’re the One that I Want” from the “Grease Soundtrack.”
Soon after, Kloss stepped out in a rather risqué ensemble and reminded us all how to “Vogue.” She took to her Instagram account afterwards saying, “Considering I wasn’t even born when Madonna first taught the world how to ‘Vogue’ … I needed a little help learning the moves.” We say: Job well done!
If this show is any indicator of how next season will be, we all better invest in a good pair of dancing shoes. To get your groove on, watch the video below!
