Saint Laurent Lights Up Paris Fashion Week

It’s called the City of Lights for a reason, and Saint Laurent’s runway presentation for Paris Fashion Week was nothing short of illuminating.

Taking things in a completely new direction, Hedi Slimane brought a bold and ambitious collection to the catwalk, though the reviews have been mixed.

Saint Laurent’s latest lineup appears to have a “California Grunge” flavor, which makes sense given the rumors that the label’s honchos want the wares to skew younger overall.

L’Oreal heir Jean-Victor Meyers described the collection as “really modern and edgy,” and front row attendees included Kirsten Dunst, Garrett Hedlund, and Emmanuelle Seigner.
