Miu Miu Takes on Fall RTW 2013 at PFW
It’s always a treat when Miuccia Prada puts her creative instincts to work, and the Miu Miu runway presentation at Paris Fashion Week definitely didn’t disappoint.
The famed Italian designer explained that her latest lineup is less refined than usual, and resulted from essentially shooting from the hip, inspiration-wise.
“After the last show, having worked so much for a month and a half [on Prada], I just wanted the visual,” Prada noted.
“Something sporty but it had to become frivolous and romantic at the end. The end is completely another story, but I didn’t have time to analyze it. It’s just instinct and what you see.”
Miu Miu’s Fall 2013 goodies featured long coats and sweaters paired with longer skirts, harkening back to the more conservative flavors of the early 1900s.
