Jean Paul Gaultier Goes Gypsy for Spring 2013

Jean Paul Gaultier’s vision can be felt in the Spring 2013 line. The designer wasn’t afraid to follow an “Indian Gypsies” theme that led him to eclectic combinations of color and texture.
The eccentric designer explained his overall motif for a new collection during an interview with WWD. “It feels like a new beginning,” he said.
The tunics, trousers, gowns, and skirts all feature embroideries, patchworks, and multiple layers that create a whole different aesthetic from the mainstream fashion landscape.
