Swedish retailer H&M has always been known for budget-friendly fashion, and their new collaboration with Isabel Marant is nothing short of incredible.
In a new interview with Vogue UK, the popular designer talked about her new goodies, slated to go on sale on November 14th with options for both ladies and gents.
Of her decision to include men’s clothes, Marant noted, “It was a joint idea with H&M to add menswear to our collaboration. They thought it was a bonus for their customers and I thought it was also a treat for my friends and customers who have been asking me to do stuff for them like, forever. I put together a compact and carefree wardrobe for contemporary men and boys. The spirit is the same as the women’s collection: functional clothes with attitude and a lived-in charm.”
As for the overall flavor of the range, Isabel shared, “The collection is totally Marant, which means that trousers are quite skinny and outerwear makes a statement. There are motorbike leather trousers that are matched with tie-dye or western shirts. Craft is something I always like, as I do like knitwear, as seen in the chunky cardigans. I included some beaded belts for my trademark boho touch.”
