Donna Karan Shows Off Sexy Structure
Every new collection is something special from Donna Karan, and this time around the iconic designer took cues from her late husband Stephan Weiss.
During her pre-fall presentation, Karan incorporated copies of Weiss’ latest posthumous book “Connecting the Dots,” as a way of wearing her influence on her proverbial (and literal) sleeve.
Donna’s new range of goodies is reportedly comprised of mostly bonded neoprene, bonded jersey, and cotton cupro stretch fabric, emphasizing her flair for highly-structured lines.
To that end, she’s come up with bodysuits, body dresses, belted peplum jackets, coordinating separates, and a noticeable lack of fur accents.
