3.1 Phillip Lim Delivers RTW Spring 2013
It was one of the most-hyped shows on the schedule, and 3.1 Phillip Lim’s Spring 2013 range definitely delivered on its reputation.
The brand’s Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week shindig definitely had a grunge flavor thanks to the Neil Young soundtrack and Lim’s penchant for layering.
Sheer dresses, biker jackets, shredded jeans, and plenty of attitude denoted that Phillip’s springtime sensibility is a bit rougher around the edges than his contemporaries.
Lim also utilized plaids, patterns, florals, and patchworks to accomplish his unique and well-received aesthetic.
