Rise & Grind: Brew Up This DIY Coffee Scrub
Without a steaming hot cup of Joe in the morning, we’re pretty sluggish. Actually, let us rephrase that: without a steaming hot cup of Joe in the morning, we’re extremely sluggish.
Coffee lends the caffeine kick needed to get things rolling on a productive, upbeat note. Without it, it's hard to muster up the steam required to push through the day, making the 9-to-5 grind difficult to endure.
While its main ingredient is beneficial to us internally, coffee grounds are fabulous for you externally as well! To prove it to you, we’ve brewed a pick-me-up for your face and body: a DIY coffee scrub.
Upon application, the caffeine in the scrub helps to reduce swelling by flushing away excess fluids from the skin. It will also exfoliate by clearing away dead skin cells, leaving you with a more radiant and healthy looking complexion.
All of the ingredients in this coffee concoction should be in your very own cupboards, so without further delay, let’s get started!
