St. Patrick’s Day: What You Need to Stay Perfectly Pinch Proof

For an occasion such as St. Patrick’s Day, basically anything goes. However, there is one rule: You must wear green.
That is, of course, unless you want to get savagely pinched all day long. No. Thank. You.
We pulled together an array of green goodies that’ll show off your Irish spirit, while helping to keep everyone’s hands to themselves.
A seriously silly shirt. Statement t-shirts are generally loud and opinionated, and St. Paddy’s day tops are no different. If anything, they seem to push the envelope a little more where subtly is concerned, and on a day such as this, we say — go for it … proudly.
Some funky footwear. Because, why not? One of our favorite pair of kicks to don while gallivanting around with our BFFs are gorgeous green Converse sneakers! The shoe is stylish, sleek, and the perfect finishing touch to an all-out green ensemble. Besides, who doesn’t love a nice pair of Chucks?
A crossbody bag. Whether you’re celebrating at a pub or a friend’s house, either location is bound to be packed. We don’t suggest you try lugging your oversized tote throughout those places. Instead, opt for a body-hugging crossbody bag. This way, both hands are free to partake in whatever shinanigans you wish. Plus, you won’t have to worry about your belongings all night — they’ll be right by your side.
Look-at-me nail polish. To keep the festive nature of your getup going from your head to your toes, swipe on a couple shades of green lacquer. We love Going Incognito from essie.
Go green with makeup. Now is the perfect time to incorporate the emerald trend into your makeup routine. One quick way to do so is to wear a striking green eyeliner! For additional tips on how to pull off the tricky hue cosmetically, click here.
Holiday-appropriate accessories. You know those leprechaun earrings your grandma gave you last year? Well, now’s the time to wear them. Don’t stop there though; break out any other statement pieces like necklaces, a watch, and whatever else tickles your festive fancy.
