Show-Stopping Styles: Top Five Mega-Glam Looks from the 2012 BET Awards

Gathering together to celebrate the best of the best in the music industry, the hottest celebrities and musicians turned out to attend the 2012 BET Awards held in Los Angeles, CA on Sunday night (July 1).

Taking place at the Shrine Auditorium, the big winners of the night were Kanye West and Jay-Z with triumphs in the Best Group and Video of the Year categories for "The Throne" while Beyoncé nabbed trophies for Best Female R&B Artist and Video Director of the Year.

Kim Kardashian: The brunette bombshell opted for sophistication and simplicity and boy, did it pay off?! The reality starlet looks white haute in a striking backless dress, with zipper detailing, that hugged all of her fabulous curves. She completed her sleek awards show look with a pair of chain-linked stilettos and a slicked back hairstyle – new beau Kanye even showed up in an all white ensemble. Aw, how cute.

Beyonce: Queen B is back and looking better than ever! The new momma looked every part of the superstar she is in a bright yellow Stéphane Rolland gown. She cinched the slinky one-shoulder frock with an incredible geometric mirrored belt and sexy nude ankle strap heels. Her best accessory of the night? The award she nabbed for Best Female R&B Artist!

Nicki Minaj: We were anxiously awaiting Miss Minaj to show up in a fabulously flashy getup – that is her usually M.O. anyway. Much to our surprise, the “Super Bass” songstress turned out in a simple, yet sexy black lacy unitard paired with gold cap-toed heels. We loved her matching pink dip-dyed locks and flirty pout. Did we mention Nicki took home the award for Best Female Hip Hop Artist for the THIRD year in a row?!

Selita Ebanks: Looking gorgeous and glamorous, the leggy supermodel looked stunning in a Falguni & Shane Peacock illusion gown. We loved the structured sequin top, which boasted brilliant pops of neon yellow. To complete her head-turning look, Ebanks pulled her curly tresses back into a loose ‘do and opted for a sultry makeup job.

Lala Anthony: Going against the fashion grain that night, Lala donned an eye-catching Lois London jumpsuit. She cinched her sparkly ensemble with a metallic belt, which really enhanced her enviable hourglass figure. We loved her glitzy jewelry, but most of all, we were swooning over her chic fishtail up'do!
