Selfridges Takes Luxury to a New Level
Taking their game to the next level, Selfridges has announced they’re opening a brand new division of their Women’s Designer Galeries department.
The Oxford Street flagship locale will features a 42,000 square-foot area designed to cater to their clients’ every shopping need.
Among the services slated to go live in 2013 is a made-to-order feature from both Charvet and Hawick, providing personalized shirt-making and cashmere goodies, respectively.
Women’s wear honcho Judd Crane explained, “We wanted to take our customer one step further in terms of luxury. [The new space was designed] without the typical department-store adjacencies.”
Furthermore, Selfridges is seeking to broaden the consumer’s style palette and introduce different brands into the mainstream.
