Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Ditches "Project Runway," Replaced by Carolyn Murphy
She seemed to be excited about her new gig, but after landing yet another blockbuster role, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has reportedly dropped out of her hosting duties for the upcoming season of "Project Runway All Stars."
While it's been said that the Burberry beauty had pushed for the job for quite some time, she apparently had to walk away from the host job once she nabbed a spot in “Mad Max: Fury Road."
Obviously blind-sided from the sudden departure so close to starting work on the project, a source close to the ordeal told The Post, “Literally days before filming, the show suddenly had no host. Rosie had been pushing really hard for the job. She’d charmed everyone."
They continued, "But then with less than three weeks to go, Rosie pulled out to do ‘Mad Max,’ creating a huge drama. It put the production in a terrible position, and the Weinstein Co. even threatened to sue Rosie."
UPDATE: Page Six is reporting that model Carolyn Murphy will act as Rosie's replacement. Be sure to stick with DIY for the latest developments on this story.
