That's a wrap! The 2013 Emmy Awards have come and gone, but night's style hangover is still in fashionable effect.
Several celebrities turned out to the annual affair in ultra-glamorous gowns that boasted an Old-Hollywood feel. They were dripping in jewels and rocked smoldering looks thanks to smoky eyes, tousled waves, sexy updos and bold kissers.
However, for every fabulously dressed A-lister, there was one that left us shaking our heads in sartorial misery.
Read on to see which ladies earned accolades for their looks, and which ones garnered a worst-dressed mention.
Heidi Klum: Wowza! Klum looks stunning in her metallic magenta Atelier Versace gown, Lorraine Schwartz jewelry and Christian Louboutin heels. The blonde bombshell couldn’t wait until she hit the red carpet to debut the dress, and posted a pic to her Instagram asking for fans to weigh in on her look. Our verdict? Heidi killed it.
Sofia Vergara: TV’s sexiest star looked ravishing in a red Vera Wang halter gown that showed off her ample assets. Vergara complemented her look with emerald jewels and undergarments from her Kmart collection.
Julianne Hough: Two words: Sheer perfection. Hough sizzled in a see-through, sea-green Jenny Packham gown that left very little to the imagination. The silhouette featured an off-the-shoulder neckline and a super-cinched waistline. Hey, we say flaunt it if you have it … and this starlet sure does.
Maria Menounos: Talk about hostess with the mostess! The "Extra" reporter turned heads in a sexy, strapless midnight blue Zac Posen creation. Complete with a green jewel necklace, Maria set off her overall look with a simple fishtail braid, smoky eye and nude lip. Can you say perfection?
Rocsi Diaz: We haven't quite picked our jaws up off the floor just yet — Rocsi's look is just that good. Her custom Michael Costello gown featured pointed details and a flawless mermaid fit. Polished off with gold Loren Ridinger jewels, Diaz look was nothing short of award-worthy to us.
Allison Williams: She described her Emmy dress as "classic and beautiful" when talking with E!, and we have to agree that it's a pretty accurate description. The "Girls" star opted for a sleeveless blue Ralph Lauren sheath with a voluminous A-line skirt. To finish off her chic ensemble, Allison kept her hair simple, sporting long flowing waves, as well as timeless Fred Leighton gold bracelets.
Kaley Cuoco: We have to hand it to “The Big Bang” actress — she really out did herself! Clad in a burgundy Vera Wang gown with a see-through corset, the blonde beauty truly redeemed herself for all those times she landed on our worst dressed list.
Carrie Underwood: It’s not that we don’t like her purple Ramon Keveza dress — it’s simply that it’s all wrong for the sexy country starlet. She should have opted for something that showed off her fabulous figure and mega-toned gams.
Anna Faris: The comedic actress is used to being a burst of sunshine — but her red carpet look boasted too much brightness. The yellow Monique Lhuillier gown paired with her platinum locks wasn’t a good combination. She should have gone with something to offset the stark tone of her locks.
Lena Dunham: Oh, this Prada gown was eye catching alright … just for all the wrong reasons. The “Girls” actresses’ floral-printed frock was extremely ill-fitting and made her look frumpy. She didn’t do herself any favors with a loud turquoise makeup look, either. It was all just a little too much.
Zosia Mamet: Strike two for the “Girls” cast! The watercolor-print on Mamet’s custom-made Honor gown was pretty — but that’s about it. The black portion of the dress’ bralet didn’t seem proportioned right, and left her chest looking awkward.
Amanda Peet: No, no, no. This black Erdem is all wrong for a swanky awards show. It looks more appropriate for a funeral that it does a red carpet affair. Sorry we’re not sorry.
Jessica Pare: We love both the “Mad Men” actress and Oscar de la Renta. However, the two didn’t collaborate well on this turquoise number. The extra fabric near her chest (and all over for that matter) weighed her down, and consumed her flawless frame.
