Although Phillip Lim for Target just hit stores yesterday, the retailer has already announced the next collaboration (drum roll please). The store has chosen British designer Peter Pilotto, and we couldn’t be more thrilled.
“By working with Target, we’re able to broaden our reach and bring our design aesthetic to an entirely new audience,” Pilotto said in a statement.
Unlike previous high-end partnerships, the range will also be featured on Net-A-Porter.com. The 70-piece line includes ready-to-wear, accessories and swimwear starting at an affordable $14.99.
The brand’s signature graphic prints will be present throughout the collection, in hues of blue, green, red and orange, which all happen to be on Pantone's top color list of 2014.
"This is a pivotal moment for our brand," stated co-creative director Christopher De Vos. "Our collection for Target embodies the elegance and spirit of our own line, but makes it accessible to everyone."
Although the line doesn't officially launch until February 9, we can only hope an employee slips again, releasing the items in-store early.
