Dolce & Gabbana to Host First-Ever Couture Show
Believe it or not they’ve never had a couture runway show, but Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana are about to change that for good.
Coming up on July 9th, the Italian design duo will host their first couture collection showcase in Taormina, Sicily, chosen for its quaintness and charm.
An insider at Dolce & Gabbana told press that the label has “been interested in exploring this area for awhile — the old ‘artistic challenge’ line.”
However, it sounds like details and reports will be scarce, as Dolce and Gabbana only invited three news outlets and an exclusive group of wealthy clients to the shindig.
