Coming Soon: Jean Paul Gaultier Streetwear
Taking his design skills to the street, Jean Paul Gaultier has announced a brand new initiative to go live in Spring 2014.
The fabulous Frenchman will design a new collection of street wear for younger consumers, and there’s already speculation regarding what to expect.
According to WWD, Gaultier’s new creations will be a bit ‘grungier’ than has past youth-oriented goodies, with lots of mesh and netting.
There’s even talk that JPG will feature underwear-flavored accents on outerwear and silk playsuits. Initial plans are for the line to be stocked in 500 retail locations.
