Carolina Herrera to be Given the Superstar Award
Her impact on and contributions to the fashion industry are innumerable, and Carolina Herrera will be honored at the Fashion Group International’s upcoming “Night of Stars” gala.
The style icon will receive the Superstar Award at the big shindig, scheduled for October 25th at the Cipriani Wall Street restaurant in New York City.
Margaret Hayes, Fashion Group’s president, told press, “Carolina is an international icon and a brilliant businesswoman. For over three decades, she’s remained true to her elegant design aesthetic in everything — from her signature collection to her bridal, accessories and fragrance collections — while presiding over a global business with a singular focus on excellence.”
“She has an innate understanding of what smart, chic women everywhere want when it comes to style and beauty,” Hayes added.
Past Superstar winners include Donna Karan, Karl Lagerfeld, Nicolas Ghesquiere, Oscar de la Renta, and Giorgio Armani.
