Celebs Get Charitable with Keihls
It’s time to celebrate Earth Day with the release of Kiehl’s new Limited Edition Label Art series skincare line!
The beauty product moguls released an environmentally friendly coolection that is backed by celebrity philanthropists, including Mark Ruffalo, Rosario Dawson, Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine, and director Spike Lee with his children Satchel and Jackson.
The “Rent” star and diva rocker teamed up to design a signature Rare Earth Pore Cleansing Masque for the set, which costs $23 (can’t wait to try it!). It’s made of Amazonian White Clay that aids in reducing enlarged pores, clearing the skin of dirt and oils left behind from the day, and detoxifying the skin.
The stars created their own packaging designs for the products and had the chance to show off their personalities.
The 32-year-old actress displayed the image of Mother Nature and Mother Earth with an abstract image of a mountain and waterfall shaped as a woman’s profile, while the “Dog Days are Over” singer created a whimsical design of the Earth in the shape of a heart.
Kiehl’s is taking it a step further by donating 100% of the product’s net proceeds to non-profit organization Recycle Across America. It also urges customers to recycle the empty packages to its store and be treated with a complimentary gift!
We love the environment and can’t wait to check out this new line!
