For the Love of Vogue: Karlie Kloss' Daring Cut
Looking to change things up a bit, Karlie Kloss opted to shorten her beautiful coif by a whopping seven inches — and she let Vogue document the whole thing at photographer Patrick Demarchelier’s studio in Chelsea, NYC.
In the accompanying interview, the 20-year-old Chicagoan explained the myriad reasons behind the big transition. “It’s been a year of big change for me. Now feels like a good time for a fresh start.”
Prior to the big chop, Kloss shared her reservations about getting her gorgeous locks cut to such a short length.
“I’ve been so happy/nervous/terrified for this moment. I haven’t had short hair since the second grade. It was a bob with bangs — and let me tell you, that was not a fabulous cut," she noted.
