Sneak Peek: Jonathan Adler Handbags Fall 2012
Keeping consistent quality and design, Jonathan Adler has just unveiled his new handbag line for the Fall 2012 season.
And though he’s long been a home goods designer, Jonathan explained that his eye for creating is no longer confined to one genre.
Adler noted, "It really made sense to me to take some of my motifs and themes, and I think they translate perfectly into the fashion category."
"The handbags address the same issues I address when I make a pot. It's form, pattern, color — and I just kind of had a burning desire to do it."
Jonathan added, "The more I make, the more I want to make, so I never say never to anything. [If I tried designing clothes, they] would be colorful and happy and — I hope — unimpeachably chic and beautifully crafted.”
