Ready For Your Close-Up?: Try This DIY Teeth Whitener!
Ever have that moment where you look back on a picture and wince because while all of your friends are flashing their pearly whites, you’re just flashing your pearly...yellows?
We sure have. Every now and then (especially for us coffee drinkers), it’s nice to lend your smile a little pick-me-up in the brightening department. So, in order to take care of this little situation, we’re resorting to baking soda – a miracle product.
It’s not only a fantastic natural exfoliator, but also a fabulous whitening agent. So, follow the simple steps below and you’ll be well on your way to a whiter, brighter smile!
Say cheese!
What you’ll need:
- Toothpaste
- 1-teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon water
- Hydrogen peroxide
- Mouthwash
- A small bowl
How to:
- In a small bowl, mix a small amount of toothpaste with one teaspoon baking soda and ½ teaspoon water.
- Brush your teeth with the mixture once a week until you have reached your desired results.
*For added whiteness – fill a mouthwash cap ½ with hydrogen peroxide and ½ with mouthwash. Swish around and rinse out well. Do this once a week as well.
