Kim Kardashian Dishes About New Scent
She’s an endless source of merchandising madness, and Kim Kardashian is a huge fan of her new fragrance, named True Reflection.
The “Disaster Movie” actress/entrepreneur/designer said the new scent is well-timed as she has a lot to process these days. “I definitely think I’m in a reflective period in my life, probably more so than any other period.”
True Reflection is being released from Lighthouse Beauty, and head honcho Philip Zellner explained that Ms. Kardashian was very intentional with the whole creative process.
“True Reflection is something that Kim wanted to do to reflect on her experiences in life, what she’s gone through in the last six to 12 months, which has her thinking and reflecting on the changes in her life.”
“Lord & Taylor is the most upscale marketplace that we’ve taken any of her fragrances to. We are reaching a more mature audience who we believe can really share in Kim’s experiences in reflecting on what she’s gone through.”
As for the notion that she’s using the new perfume to capitalize on her divorce from Kris Humphries, Kim declared, “That is definitely a part of who I am, but that is not what the fragrance is about at all. It is about overcoming things and letting your true self come out.”
