Miley Cyrus: Why She's Sticking to Short Dresses
We've all noticed her hemline inching upwards as of late, and it seems as if Miley Cyrus has some pretty logical reasoning behind her recent leggier looks!
A frequenter of A-list events, the former Disney darling has learned that floor-sweeping frocks are a headache more often than not, telling press, "There's always a frickin' hole in it when you're on the red carpet. You leave here having to buy the thing because everyone has put their heel in the back of your train. I've learned!"
After arriving at Sunday's (May 20) Billboard Music Awards in a racy white Jean Paul Gaultier jacket, she also explained why her pops, Billy Ray Cyrus, will not be joining her on the red carpet any time soon, noting, "That's why my dad isn't here right now because he always steps on my dress. So no longer do we walk carpets together.
Miley also gave a bit more insight into her plunging choice for the evening's event, as she told, "I just thought I love white on a white carpet. I thought it would be fun. I like that it's a little boyish but still feminine," she said, before explaining her gold necklace accessory.
