Making an unforgettable runway show during New York Fashion Week requires more than fabulous clothes — it requires a killer playlist, too!

DJs and bands work hard to compile a soundtrack that sticks to the designer’s theme, all while carrying a bumping beat for the models to strut their stuff.

This season, the mood on the catwalks ranged from dark and eerie to feminine and flirty, meaning we spent the last week indulging in every genre — from oldies but goodies, and current chart toppers, to indies and never-before-heard numbers.

Ready to jam out with us? We rounded up the best songs played during NYFW, so you can practice your own catwalk ... or just rock out on your daily commute.
