Gareth Pugh Fall 2012: Dark & Daring at PFW

Posted Thursday March 1, 2012 2:36 PM GMT

Sticking to his usual mode of operation, Gareth Pugh presented his Autumn/Winter 2012 collection at Paris Fashion Week with plenty of gothic overtones.

For one, the moody designer utilized black paper drops to symbolize a dark rain over the crowd at the beginning and end of his runway show.

As for the clothes, Pugh kept it simple with either black or gray color schemes and plenty of leather and fur throughout the lineup.

Additionally, Gareth incorporated pointy shoulders, exaggerated accents, and billowing trains to articulate his artistic statements.
