Cynthia Rowley debuted her Fall 2012 line to a packed house at the IAC building in the meatpacking district last night (February 9).

The star-studded front row consisted of celebrities such as Rebecca Romijn, Abigail Breslin, Kelly Rutherford and model/designer Lauren Bush Lauren. "I always loved fall clothing," said Breslin who donned a stunning Rowley creation. "I wish I was here for the whole fashion week but I'm going away to film a project starring Harrison Ford."

As the show ensued, spectators were presented with a collection inspired by old-school craftsman with designs full of muted colors, a plethora of prints and articles of clothing with sparse jewel embellishments. "What inspired the collection: Mechanics, cobblers and leathermen. Welding, oil slicks. Women artists making big, strong work," Cynthia said.

Surprisingly, the celeb favorite fashion house managed to turn what would seem like an otherwise grungy collection (given the inspiration) into lovely works of wearable art. Frequently mixing different textures together to peak the interest of spectators, Rowley's latest RTW creation is looking to be rather well-received by all.
