BCBG Max Azria Kicks Off NYFW 2012
Kicking off New York Fashion Week like only its legendary designs can, the latest offering from BCBG Max Azria took to the runway in Lincoln Center on Thursday morning (February 9).
Giving us a satisfying glimpse of what's to come, there was a definite evolution of the spring's color blocking trend present in today's showing.
However, this time around, the palette is much more "everyday," allowing for consumers to chose from rather muted, less intimidating hues, such as warm coral and deep purple.
Continually grabbing our attention as the models rolled on, the fashion house kept things fresh with a steady line of geometric shapes, fur trim, interesting pleats and mix-and-match fabrics.
One of the most captivating looks of the runway came towards the end of the collection, as an effortlessly sexy, white silk chiffon mini dress made its way down the catwalk.
As for the famous faces taking in the swanky soiree, TV personality Maria Menounos, "Daddy's Girls" reality star Angela Simmons, Food Network chef Giada De Laurentiis and model Jessica White were all spotted among today's spectators.
