Not So Picture Perfect: Terry Richardson Named in Lady Gaga's Lawsuit

Things aren't so picture perfect for Terry Richardson these days — the celeb-loved photographer is being dragged into a nasty court battle involving Lady Gaga.
According to the New York Post, a lawsuit was filed in 2011 by the Mother Monster's former secretary, Jennifer O'Neill, alleging the superstar owes her over $393,000 in overtime pay.
Where does Richardson fit into this? He was on tour with Gaga, taking behind-the-scenes pics during the time in question. In fact, Terry took a reported 142,000 photos while on the "Monster Ball" tour — an astronomical amount that O'Neill hopes will help prove her case that she was required to be at Gaga's "beck and call" for thousands of unpaid hours. 7,168 hours to be exact.
For his part, Richardson's lawyer has fought back, telling press, “Mr. Richardson’s business and livelihood depend on the value of his photographs,” adding that he will suffer “immeasurable financial loss” as a result of the suit.
Losses could be incurred on Richardson's side if the photos used in the claim are admitted into evidence. If this happens they will be unsealed and become public record — AKA they could be reproduced, and so lose value.
We're sure the legal saga will continue to unravel for quite some time. Stay tuned to DIY Fashion for the latest developments.
