It was one of the biggest days of her life as a mother, and Kate Middleton made sure she looked top-notch for her son Prince George’s christening.
The Duchess of Cambridge enlisted the design team at Alexander McQueen to craft her the perfect cream-colored dress, teamed with a beret by Jane Taylor.
Kate’s ensemble was made to match Prince George’s satin and lace christening gown, a replica of an 1841 piece that had been worn by over sixty royal babies.
Of course, the proud mother’s sister Pippa Middleton also opted for a cream dress/coat combo by British designer Suzannah Crabb, while Queen Elizabeth sported a light blue outfit.
Per an Express report, the Royal Family continued the celebration after Prince George’s christening at St. James’ Palace. "Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall will give a private tea party in Clarence House, where guests will be served slices of christening cake, a tier taken from William and Kate's wedding cake."
