Anna Wintour Launches Fashion for Sandy Relief
Though it’s been weeks since Hurricane Sandy tore through the Eastern Seaboard, recovery efforts are only just beginning to make a dent in the prolific damage.
In response to the devastation, Anna Wintour has announced a new charity initiative from Vogue and CFDA called Fashion for Sandy Relief.
Wintour’s philanthropic project kicks off with an auction on the Charitybuzz.com website, giving good-hearted fashionistas a chance to donate money and win great prizes.
Among the rewards for being generous is a chance to sit front row with Wintour at a runway show, meeting Michael Kors at one of his events, and having dinner with Gwyneth Paltrow and Mario Batali.
