It's a wrap! Although New York Fashion Week's Fall 2013 presentation has come and gone, but beauty trends first spotted at the superstar event are just beginning to to take off.
In addition to killer clothes, design house after design house sent their models down the runway with something as equally-enviable as their autumn apparel — show-stopping manicures.
Which shades did we see over and over again? Nude and black — in nearly every variation imaginable. Despite their implied simplicity, these polishes made a serious impact. Enter BCBG's leggy ladies. Beauty buffs were buzzing over their choice of dark lacquer, Black Onyx by OPI. To finish off the eye-catching creation, nail techs topped that coat with the brand's Matte Nail Envy. ICB by Prabal Gurung chose a similar shadow-inspired style — applying Butter LONDON's Chimney Sweep color to its girls.
Meanwhile, Candela's catwalkers kept things on the neutral side with OPI's ultra-warm hue Don’t Pretzel My Buttons. Additionally, Jason Wu opted for a similar look, picking OPI's taupe shade, San Tan-tonio, for his models.
We all can't be six-feet tall and a size zero like them — but boy, we sure can rock a memorable mani just as well! Paint your way to perfection with our pick of runway-approved polishes below, below:
