Monaco Blue: 2013's 'It' Color
Every year fashion trends come and go, and the prime color for the upcoming Spring 2013 season is Monaco Blue.
According to the Color Institute, Tangerine Tango has been replaced by the calming color as the favorite hue of designers.
Coming in behind Monaco Blue are Dusk Blue, Emerald, and Greyed Jade, all of which are aquatic and serene. Additionally, they’re all really easy to pair with other tones.
Leatrice Eiseman, executive director at Pantone told press, “It speaks to the practicality that we are seeing in society. You have to realize there is still concern out there for the economy… people want dependably stable colors.”
