Love It, Like It or Leave It: La Fresh's Eco-Beauty Makeup Remover Review

THE CLAIM: La Fresh promises their wipes will effortlessly remove all remnants of makeup — waterproof or not — from your face. The combination of Olive, Jojoba, Sesame, Grapeseed, Vitamin E, and Lavender oil will work together to nourish the most delicate areas around your lips and eyes without provoking any irritation.

OUR TEST: I felt no irritation at all while using these wipes. My makeup came off very easily, which is a big deal for me because I don’t like removal products that require harsh rubbing, as it’s not good for your skin. The smell of these wipes is lovely, and their convenience is amazing. However, even though the brand says the product is moisturizing, I felt the urge to put on lotion immediately afterwards. Also, compared to other makeup removers that inevitably made their way into my mouth when taking off lipstick, this one tasted pretty foul.

VERDICT: We LIKE it. If you follow with a moisturizer and can get past its taste, you’re golden. The cleansing process is quick and simple, making your makeup removal routine a breeze.
