Whoever said faking it is a bad thing, is wrong — at least when it comes to eyelashes.
After all, plumping up peepers with faux whispies is quickly becoming one of beauty's biggest movements.
From those of the individual variety, to versions that boast serious length or a pop of color, falsies are a fast and effective way to amplify the flirtatiousness of your flutter.
However, with so many on the market, it's hard to know which falsies to choose. That was until now. Below, we broke it down by eye shape and by showing you which pairs we personally wear the most.
Almond: You're in luck! This shape can get away with most, if not all, lashes. Feeling catty? Opt for individual add-ons on the outer corners, or put the longest extensions on the inner and outer corners for additional flair.
Hooded: Created a doe-eyed appearance with a strip that features both long and short strands. Not only will this addition play up your peepers' sex appeal, they’ll also make eyes look more awake bye creating a widened effect.
Round/Large: Turn things up a notch by placing the longest lashes at the corners of the eyes. This will help keep your glance upward and maintain your wide-eyed look.
Small: Stay away from lashes that are too thick or unrealistic, as they make your eyes seem even smaller. Instead, pick a set that's ultra-whipsy, with special emphasis to the outer corners. Want to further amplify the size of your set? Use a lash curler!
