Tyra Banks: Wigging Out in New Legal Battle

It’s not uncommon for celebrities to battle the law, but this particular dispute has Tyra Banks wigging out … literally.
According to TMZ, the model is accusing ten companies of illegally using her image, similar to Rihanna’s battle with Topshop. A group of wig brands used Banks’ name, likeness and identity without her consent to promote a product.
Banks is already collecting evidence, including her 11-page IMDB profile to prove just how valuable her trademark is.
Tyra is hoping her legal actions will stop companies from using her image and selling unauthorized products in the future, and is also demanding $10 million in damages.
While we don't think an IMDB profile was necessary for Exhibit A, we can't blame the America's Next Top Model star for defending her identity. Stay tuned to High Fashion Magazine for more on this pending case.
