With one end, create a slipknot and pull the rope through until approximately 2 inches remains. Repeat with the other end. It is important that your knots are as tight as possible to maintain a firm structure. Tuck the 2 inch ends back into coupling and make any necessary adjustments to ensure the rope ends are hidden.
